To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, a school prefectorial board was formed after scrutinous interviewing and selection.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2020-21 was held on the 18th of February in D.A.V. Public School. The Oath taking ceremony was led by school's new Head Boy Yogesh Joshi.

Honourable Principal sir Mr.Parvesh Kumar inspired and encouraged the elected leaders to be dutiful and responsible in his address to the gathering and wished the student leaders in completing responsibilities entrusted to them in the year ahead. He also mentioned the efforts taken by the School in promoting children's democratic and social skills and offered his support in the future. His words of advice were highly motivating to the students.
